For a while my wife had been wanting to go wine tasting in Temecula, since it was her birthday, and having spent time with friends and family earlier in the week, I decided to surprise her with a little get-away trip.

We went down to Temecula, which is about an hour and twenty minutes from Los Angeles. While we were there we went to four wineries : Callaway Vineyard and Winery, Bel Vino Winery, Wilson Creek Winery, and Leoness Winery.

We enjoyed the wine tasting at Callaway and Bel Vino, had lunch at Wilson Creek and ended our wine tour with a glass of wine enjoying the beautiful rolling hills and views of the Leoness Vineyard.

We ended our stay at Pechanga Casino, had a nice dinner and hit the slots.  My wife Dulce loved the little surprise I planned, loved the wine we drank, but the only thing she didn’t like was walking away from the Slots broke!
