About 4 years ago I met Leo at a snowboarding outing with our mutual friend Julio, we had some beers, we hit the slopes and had an awesome time. He’s quite a character.
Here we are some time later, for his Engagement session with him and his lovely fiancé Karla. They are quite a pair. They are fun, energetic and their images reflect the love they have for each other.
They chose the Korean Friendship Bell and Pavillion as their primary location. They told me they would go their quite often when they first started dating, to take in the majestic LA. Harbor and Pacific Ocean views. It’s such a peaceful and beautiful location. The bell was presented by the Republic of Korea to the American people to celebrate the bicentennial of the United States and to symbolize friendship between the two nations. The bell site affords an unsurpassed view of the Los Angeles Harbor, the Catalina Channel and the sea terraces of San Pedro hill with the bluffs down below, it’s a great location for peace and serenity.
Our second location was down below about 800 yards away at Point Fermin Park, this scenic park is the southernmost point in Los Angeles, also with amazing views, trees, picnic areas and Point Fermin Lighthouse. Point Fermin Lighthouse was the first navigational light into the San Pedro Bay. The lighthouse which was refurbished in 1974 was the backdrop to some of the beautiful images I captured on saturday afternoon.
